Straight-sided hydraulic presses, also known as Gib Guided Presses, are placed in the most demanding applications. Ruggedly constructed with industry superior eight point gibbing, straight-sided presses insure millions of cycles and extended tool wear. Press size ranges from 150 to 1500 tons.

Standard Straight Side Press Features

Extra deep slide construction provides extra rigidity and longer bearing length for increased resistance to deflection and off-center loads.
Eight-point oil lubed gib system insures long bearing life.
Substantial press crown and bed weldments are keyed to massive side weldments. Four internal tie bars extending from bed to crown through the massive side weldments securely hold the entire frame together.
Lower cushion and sliding bolster designs available.
Hydraulic design provides rapid advance and quick speed change to pressing speed.
Crown mounted hydraulics minimize required floor space for press installation.
Various control packages available including pressure or position reversal.
Press speed change points setup through operator touch screen interface.
OSHA required dual hand button with ring guards is standard press operation control and includes anti-tie down anti-repeat functionality. Light curtain with single Banner swipe type button is also available.
